We offer a wide range of anti-corrosion protection products for gas pipelines, oil pipelines, seaports and other structures.
We advise in the field of anti-corrosion protection in the field of corrosion on gas pipelines, oil pipelines, seaports and others.
The reference electrode is designed for accurate potential reading on underground metallic structures. It is designed for a long-term permanent operation in soil and enables among others:
Due to the developed technical solutions the electrode is characterized by very beneficial parameters during its exploitation. The use of the highest purity materials as well as a special electrochemical treatment of copper core result in a very high potential stability. Because of a high permissible current loading the application of voltmeters with a high internal resistance for potential measurements is not necessary. Two-compartment electrode housing with the anti-diffusion filling and ion-selective trap prevent undesirable diffusion of copper ions into environment.
The High Silicon Cast Iron (HSCI) Canister Anodes can be used for various applications, such as cathodic protection of underground storage tanks, bottoms of aboveground storage tanks, and pipelines. Their easy installation comes in particularly useful anywhere, where the conventional hole loading methods seem less practical.
The offer includes the HSCI Canister Anodes made of FeSi or FeSiCr alloys. The alloys contain approximately 15% silicon as the primary alloying element. Chromium containing alloys (4-5%) exhibit superior resistance to chloride attack. Basic technical parameters of the Canister Anodes are presented in the table below.
Construction The HSCI Canister Anodes are prepackaged in metal canisters of galvanised steel. The highgrade carbonaceous backfill is well compacted inside the canister. The anode is electrically connected to the canister, to increase electrical conductivity, and accelerate the canister corrosion rate. The standard lead cable is 5m of 10mm2 XLPE/PVC (for general application). However, any length and type of cable is available, including Kynar, HMWPE, EPR, and others.
The magnesium galvanic anodes are designed for corrosion protection of underground metallic structures such as tanks and pipelines in circumstances where the use of impressed current cathodic protection is not technically or economically justified. They are used in particular for cathodic protection of steel structures covered with high quality protective coatings (when low current density is required), in soils of low resistivity (below 200 Ohm), and with no or little interaction of stray currents.
The anodes are made of magnesium alloy MgAl6Zn3 according to the Standard PN-EN 12438:2002 in the form of a cylindrical casting with a steel core, which is inseparably connected with electrical cable. The anodes are placed in the backfill containing bentonite, sodium sulphate, and other chemical additives. Due to the applied technical solutions, the produced Mg galvanic anodes are characterized by particularly favorable operating parameters.
